Artist's Comment: This was the first in a series of about 63 drawings that were titled Metamorphosis. The Idea is that under our tutelage babies change from larva to pupa to adult,they become a lot more than we think. Also the idea that the drawings are meant as a metaphor for the whole series,which was made up of three groups. The first group was titled (Metamorphosis). The second group was titled (The Merry Go Round). The third group was titled (The Children's Hour).
