Artist's Comment: Well, my Concept of my pencil version of this has changed rapidly. Not that I didn't like the other one... but there was something I didn't liked very much.
For those who know what I am talking about, here's the little story:
I once started a drawing with that concept seen here in pencil, went pretty well, was alomst finished until the lovely drawing had an accident with a glass of water. There was no way to save the drawing... After some time of thinking and getting my new tablet I decided to try it again in the digital way.
I changed many things: the hair, the features, the necklace (about 3 times while drawing [Nudge nudge, wink wink ] , and the blood stayed out of this. In my eyes it's still not finished and I think I will work on it from time to time.
I hope you like her. Done with my wonderful new tablet and photoshop 7 and my good old computer which isn't suited for that kind of thing anymore... the nagging about not enough volume made me nuts sometimes. Reference was my pencil drawing, which is now in the haven of destroyed drawings.

wow, amazing job! The thumbnail doesn't even come close to doing it justice. The freckles and detail on the eyes is exceptional and the color palete that you used to do the lips with is really eye catching! I'm amazed no one else has commented on this yet!
Excellent work! |

Beautiful, Nina! Of course, I love the exquisite detail which seems to accompany all of your pieces. I especially love the way the eyelashes have have that "beaded" effect on the ends. The coloring is great too.
