Can someone please tell me how you can have time to enjoy a piece of art but not thank the artist?
I am VERY tired right now and my comments/critiques are getting shorter and less insightful due to this, but I still show my appreciation! Come one people, show some love!
acts like a hippy!
Comment, to help others.
Share your kindness, not your hate.
Love the art, before yourself.

hey there we have the dA line. But yeah you are pretty right. People should recieve more comments for their work. But it's only my op. I am not such an active commenter either.

And I definately agree that people should freakin comment
it's not exactly very straining and makes everybody happy ¬¬

Sorry about the dA line, but it's not theirs exactly, I have adapted it as theirs is contradictory.
I do believe it though and I think people should be more interested in helping others than STEALING server space for personal use.

you're right that dA line was a bit different. It isn't bad but I think it doesn't has effect. Don't understand why there are still people having that in their sig to get comments.

It's not in my sig because I am not here to get comments. Comments on what? I have it becaue I believe you should comment, but comment to help others, not to get stats or to be little them or take the piss.
Comments are critiques; there to help the artist improve, period.

Your desires aren't fair. Why do you ask only for positive comments, ie "kindness"
Why cannot I leave a negative comment? Give you a one or two star? I am not referring to your work, but rating option is there for a reason
Who says a 1 or 2 star is bad? Since when? Why should you leave a negative comment? If you feel the desire to comment there is no need to be nasty, you don't have to like the work to be polite and constructive, you just have to be a nice guy. It's not going to help by being honest and saying "I hate it. It's sh*te." or even if you give a reason because this could be a good artist in the future, shootin them down won't make them improve, rather quit.

Its not a hard concept, I just dont agree with it. And, no, I didnt mean saying "shite" is acceptable. But sometimes people submit such horrible crap that all you can say is "Oh my God, that is horrible"

So, whats wrong with me saying that I just don't like it, without any derogatory comments? Maybe I find it esthetically unappealing? maybe I dont like the content. Mostly I do say why I do not like something, but its not always sufficient for some.
There must be a reason you don't like it. This kind of attitude in a comment doesn't help the artist, why else would you be posting the comment in the first place?
