W.I.P. Set / Works In Progress

I thought it would be neat if we had a works in progress section whereby we could post our works as we are create them. It would give us a small peek into each others creative processes and techniques. I, personally, work in both traditional and non- traditional ways so while most of my pieces end up looking cg, they may not always start out that way.
This piece is just a character I'm working on which was inspired by one of Brom's art pieces. I'm not sure if I will include it as a Sorche character or not, but anyway it was quickly sketched with my mouse.

Yeah, drawing and/or painting with the mouse is challenging, but I have gotten used to it. Still I'd like to at least have a chance to try my hand at a tablet. Had a wacom once, but kept getting an error message when I tried to use it.
I think the wing should taper a bit at the end on the right wing there.

Do you know the exact error message you got Liquidd on your wacom tablet??.
If yes I or Tam maybe able to help you with that!.
You guys need ICQ so we can chat as hubbubab, Tam and SkuzzyG and I do
As for the Freehand Angel...
Still working on it.
It sucks cause I draw a bit have to wait for my hand to wake up.
I am still waiting on my doctor to call tell me what the can do for me.

My girl by the way got a nifty back-brase and they think she will not need a operation, but if that does not work they have to operate.
I hope not! So we are diffently doing a lot of Praying over here!.

I almost always start out with traditional media, but lately when it comes to coloring I've just found computer painting much cheaper and less messier. I still do traditional pieces for clients, but for fun I almost always do computer coloring. A tablet would make that and adding details much more better!

I find my optical mouse to be a second best solution, but a tablet(working properly) would be an asset.

Yeah, I have a microsoft optical intellimouse with the cool light on it, but I'm sure my work time would be cut tremendously if I had a tablet. I mean, obviously I don't have a problem with a mouse, but a tablet would feel more like a traditional pen and sketchpad I think.

Based on all the feedback on the colours I should choose, most of them were the typical colours of a fantasy lady. I wanted to divert from that, so now she has pink hair. Tried giving her darker skin but she looked a bit weird. Probably didn't choose the right shade. *shrugs* Anything green or yellow is metal, and blue are markings. Still don't know what colour to use for her 'clothes' but that'll be decided later on. Thanks for everyone who helped with colour picking!
