Today I came across this site which I was noted by via mail and I must say I fear we are doing things incredibly wrong.
Or I am getting blind and am not able anymore to see what is good and what is bad.

I am gonna visit a doctor right now. You cannot tell me that looking at that stuff too long is good for your eyes.

from what i can see it is mainly a core group of people. all reviews go to one section they call a book with each review called a chapter, also bellow each of the reviews is a reply. if we were to take all comments from every upload here and string them together in a forum style set up it would look at very least 10x bigger.

The only thing I would really like to see change is more specialization of categories to submit your work into. For example I see no area to submit graffiti art without it getting thrown into an awkward mix of randow drawings and paintings.

I've seen these kinds of sites before Stev. No post apophysis renders and sine dots getting hundreds of downloads and 10-20 comments like "OMG". I just thought the people seeing that kind of beginner art had just not ever seen anything like that before. I mean, the first time I saw digital art I was amazed. Then after a few weeks it took a lot more to impress me.

Been there, done that. Most of the people there are beginners and easily impressed. The trick is that you HAVE to comment on submitted images in order for your "reviewer rank" to go up and and gain points (member dollars) so that you can submit another piece and promote it using the member dollars.
On the positive front, you can gain a few customers there. I made a few friends there (which is why I post on any site anyway), but I'm not sure it's worth all the time I'd have to devote to it, so I'm on hiatus while I decide.

Dang Liquidd! You get around!
I can barely figure out how to navigate that site. It's not all that impressive, but it's beginners and we all have to start out somewhere. Anybody know an average age of the site?
